Ram is a Fellow Chartered Accountant (FCA) and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He founded R Taparia & Associates in 2019 to give growing businesses an accountant's view of their ERP and finance systems.

He helps businesses choose the right ERP and implementation partner, manages ERP projects on the client's side through to go-live, leads accounting-led migrations from Tally, QuickBooks and spreadsheets to Odoo and other systems, and oversees monthly bookkeeping and close for clients across several tax systems, including GST/HST, VAT, US sales tax and Indian GST.
